报告摘要:

Following the rapid surge in global demand for energy as well as the rising generation of solid waste worldwide, much more attention has been drawn to sustainable waste management solutions to tackle both problems. Industrial solid waste is generated during manufacturing, processing, and industrial operations. It includes scrap metal, chemical residues, packaging materials and sludge from wastewater treatment, the innovative solutions are essential. Waste-to-Energy (WTE) technology stands at the forefront of sustainable waste management, transforming what was once considered worthless garbage into valuable energy resources. WTE technologies can be used to create a variety of energy sources (Electricity, Gas, Fuel). These energy sources can be applied for supplying electricity, fueling vehicles, heating houses and create an environment-friendly solution for handling the pollution created by landfill waste sites, and the problem of over-flowing landfill waste sites.

报告人简介:

Hossein Ganjidoust1988年博士毕业于密苏里大学罗拉分校环境工程专业,美国化学学会,美国水行业协会会员,目前在伊朗德黑兰的Tarbiat Modares University担任正教授。主要研究方向包括水与废水、工业和危险废物的处理和处置研究。主持科研项目30余项,出版3本书籍,在SCI期刊上发表学术论文150余篇,参与学术会议交流200余次
